Sometimes people come into our lives and they quite literally change the trajectory of it. I met Robbin when I was in my momma’s womb! She and her kiddos added so much light and love to my childhood! She made the dress I was baptized in as a baby, she saved me from thinking I needed to change for a boy (thank God), she is such a great friend to my mother that she became a second one to me, and she gave my siblings and I a safe place to be our true selves- along with every one of you, I know. Which is why I can wholeheartedly say she deserves every second of retirement. She has poured into all our lives for decades, and I’m ecstatic retirement will pour love into her. While we’d appreciate her working forever and never stepping away from the chair, she is worthy of rest, and creativity, and peace, and all the blessings coming her way. She has such a special place in my heart and I cannot stress this enough- I am honored to continue her legacy and care for her clients. I don’t take her recommendation lightly and take comfort in knowing we can miss her together. I cannot wait to hear how she impacted your life! This short chapter I was blessed with has brought up so many good and fun memories I cannot wait to share with you. Bobbing for apples, Pin the tail on the donkey (I totally won fair & square- even if Tom thought I cheated), NOT burning CDs with Anna or running away with her unbeknownst to our parents… Fun times. :)

I understand it’s a big change for us all. We’ve all had to adjust to this new normal, and I’m trying my best to do my part.

I’ve changed policies by taking ‘credit card on file’ off. I’m not a big corporation that can handle huge last minute cancellations, and some appointments are hours long - leaving me unable to juggle clients around or fill the space. When I can’t work, I don’t get paid. It was the best way I knew to protect this business I care for so much, but I hear the concern & understand that referrals are not ‘new’ clients.

Robbin being the amazing person she is, has left detailed instructions with her formulas, cuts, and prices. I will honor her prices for your first 3 appointments to ensure this is a switch you want to make and give your hair & I time to get to know each other.

I hope this makes the transition more comfortable for you. I will always do everything in my power to help you feel safe and at peace, both with me as a person and as your stylist! If you ever have any questions, comments, concerns, please reach out to me (text is best, as my work never truly ends. It’s literally 9p as I write this. I love my career but phew! Also, spam calls are the worst, so it saves me from someone asking if I need car insurance or want to pay Rudolph’s medical bills. Seriously, who is he?). I’d love nothing more than to reassure you.

Claudia’s personal journey in holistic and alternative therapies for self-healing started in 1999; in 2002 she obtained her Master Certification in Reiki, amidst the beautiful rolling green hills of the Midlands, in Stafford (United Kingdom). 

Claudia further pursued her interests in Eastern Philosophies; she immersed herself in the ancient culture of Thailand. An introduction to Traditional Thai Modalities included Tok Sen, Chi Nei Tsang, Hak-Therapy (Gua Sha) and Nerve Touch. In 2015 Claudia achieved the Advanced Traditional Thai Instructor Certification for the Thai recognized Loi Kroh School based in Chiang Mai. Claudia's personal studies continue with one-on-one instruction from various master teachers throughout Thailand.

It was during an intense period of studies in Thailand that the profound realization of the importance of cultivating happiness in oneself and others manifested; unified through a deep understanding and sense of purpose.

Claudia is a Certified Bodywork Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner. She is a nationally accredited Instructor and Provider (NCBTMB) and a member of Thai Healing Alliance International (T.H.A.I) and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Claudia passionately integrates contemporary practices with ancient Traditional Thai therapies into a modern, cohesive methodology which is delivered through focused therapy and instruction.
